Okay, I enjoyed this episode. Hated the Jason/Lana bits, or course (yawn), and the Clark/Lana bits (BITCH!), but the rest of it was pretty good. It's sad that the Gayest Look of the Episode was between Lex and Mikhail.

However, we do have a new thing (I think it's new), The GAPE--The Gayest Position of the Episode. Lex bending over the pool table with Clark standing behind him. Once again, I say, "Oh, they're just fucking with us!"

As for Lex being suddenly evil with no motivation and no build up, I just can't even hope for any kind of logical, consistent character development from the idiot PTBs.

Bo was pretty much an ass for most of the episode. Very annoying. When he told Clark he was becoming just like his dad, I wasn't sure if he was talking about Jor-El (or, as everyone on the show says, "Jrel") and being insulting, or talking about himself, and being kind of egotistical.

Chloe was great great great! Every scene. The scenes with Mikhail, the flirty ones and the scary ones. She was so effective in the scene where Mikhail forced her to kiss him.

Martha was brilliant. She was good Martha this week, rather than pod!Martha.

I'm very curious about that last scene with Lex and Mikhail. Mom asked, "Where are they?" And I said, "The mutant factory, I think." It'll be interesting to find out.

Speaking of Mikhail, I don't remember Mr. Mxyzptlk being a tall, relatively attractive young man. I recall him being a tiny leprechaun-like creature. Does anyone else remember that?

Oh, and I won't be watching next week. I'll tape it and fast forward past all but the five minutes where Lex appears, if he's even in there at all. Stupid DOMOS.

Your post made me remember I had a Clex dream last night. Weird!
