Thanks to my friends list for the birthday wishes! That was nice to see when I came on LJ today. :)

My computer is fixed and I'm a happy girl.

I finally forced myself to watch last week's Smallville. And I only fast-forwarded through a little bit of it. I thought I should watch it before this week's show. I'm not going to cut tag this, since I don't have much to say. I thought it was incredibly stupid and pointless. I mean really pointless. As in, what was the fucking point?

MR was brilliant and compelling, as usual, in the two seconds they allowed him to be onscreen.

And hey! My season 3 dvds haven't gotten here yet. Maybe they'll come tomorrow.

I've noticed that when they have to reveal a big factoid about Clark's physiology, the eps tend to be bad. Like the superhearing one? Ugh. And the magic vulnerability... Couldn't we have learned that SOME other way?

The only good one that had to do with his abilities was "Heat." Because Clark got all jealous about Desiree. It was the first ep I ever watched, and I was HOOKED.

I never noticed that, but I think you're right. And really, we did learn about it in the ep with Myxzptlk; his powers are magical (I think) and they affected Clark. But of course, that ep had hardly any Lana and we can't have that.
