Smallville tonight

I won't be watching the first episode of Smallville tonight. I hated it the first time it was shown and I won't sit through it again. What a waste of time! The last couple of minutes (when Clark tells Jonathan the he and Martha were chosen by Jor-El to be Clark's adoptive parents) are the only important part of the episode, and the PTBs could have gotten there any number of more interesting ways.

I may watch the second episode. I'm not sure what it will be. I hope it's the one with Christopher Reeve. I've never gotten to see that one.

Nope. It wasn't the one with Christopher Reeve. I guess that one will come on sometime in the next few weeks. The second show tonight was the pilot, which I have on dvd and have seen several times.

My sister and I watched the tape of Kingdom Hospital that we made last week instead. It was pretty good. Nice to see Andrew McCarthy working. The woman who plays Justin's mother on Queer As Folk is in it also, as is Bruce Davison (mutant amphibian senator guy from X Men). I don't think I recognized anyone else. Oh wait--the guy who played "The Toad" in American Graffiti. I always enjoy his performances even though I don't know his name. Anyway, the show was creepy and interesting. It has a talking giant anteater and other talking animals. I'll watch more of it.
