the term limits thing

Well, darn. I may have voted the wrong way on the term limits thing. My brother and I were talking about it today (he voted last week), and he said he thought that amendment was supposed to extend term limits, as in make it possible for politicians to run more times. I thought it was supposed to extend the law creating term limits, which makes it so politicians can't run for more times. By the end of the conversation we both thought we had read the amendment wrong and had voted the opposite of the way we wanted things to go. We both dislike term limits, we both want them to go away, he voted for and I voted against. We won't know what we've done until we read about it in the paper next Wednesday.
