continuing the SV marathon
Jun. 30th, 2008 07:26 pmI've finished season 1 and I'm on season 2. The end of season 1 and beginning of season 2 reminded me of why I was so happy to see Lionel go out of that window at the end of Season 7. Yes! High five to Lex!
"Heat" is still laugh out loud funny. My favorite part is the Jiffy Pop moment. *g*
Clark: At least now I can make the heat vision work without having to think about sex.
Jiffy Pop: POP!

I'm just starting on "Lineage." I had forgotten the beginning. Who knew Smallville could do witty banter? The opening scene was almost like a scene from a 1930s screwball comedy.
Martha: How can you be as fast as lightning and as slow as molasses all at the same time?
Clark: Sometimes, Mom, I'm even a mystery to myself.
Jonathan: Wait a minute, didn't I just fix that alarm clock recently?
Clark: Yeah, but I crushed it this morning hitting the snooze alarm. Guess I'm not much of a morning person.
Jonathan: You must have got that from your mother. You know, she could be late to her own wedding. In fact, she was late to her own wedding.
Martha: Not all of us were trained by roosters!
Clark: I was up late studying for a test. Greek tragedy.
Jonathan: Speaking of Greek tragedy, I've gotta get your mother to work.
I enjoyed that. :) It's not often that Jonathan can take a dig at the Luthors and not make me want to smack him.
