SPN Sex and Violence
Sep. 13th, 2013 11:57 pmI had forgotten how very Wincesty this episode was LOL! At least from Dean's POV. Of course, when it first aired I don't think I was aware of the Wincest idea.
But seriously, a siren who manifests itself as your ideal mate--for Sam it's the brainy and beautiful doctor. For Dean, it's a new, improved little brother!
I am amused.
Another blatantly Wincesty moment that went over my head the first time around was at the end of episode with the djinn. After Dean comes out of the fantasy world and he's telling Sam about it, he says something like, "So I had this great life, but you and I never...." And Sam looks at him soulfully and says, "I'm glad we did." Never what?? Did what??

Hey! The brainy, beautiful doctor was just a person, not a siren! I liked her and she wasn't evil. That's quite a change for a female character on SPN.
