capnzebbieI knew the weight loss would slow down, but really! A half a pound? Ah well, as my sister said, it's better than gaining. I will soldier on.

emrinalexander posted here that plus size clothing for women is in short supply among the Katrina survivors, so we loaded up a bunch of stuff an took it to one of the donation centers. Ten big, heavy-duty garbage bags full of stuff. We had one bag of my dad's stuff (I actually managed to persuade him to part with some of his clothes that he hasn't worn since he retired, don't fit him, and will never again fit him *g*), one bag of medium-sized clothing and shoes from my niece, two bags of sheets and towels, and six bags of plus-size women's clothing, including some shoes. We also had some kitchen utensils and pans and some toiletries. I hate to think of women having to wrap up in garbage bags and blankets just because there aren't enough plus-size donations.
