I know I said I was going to try to post more regularly, and I sincerely meant it. However, I didn't expect to have to deal with butt surgery. This is the first time I've sat down at a computer (or sat down at all, actually) in over two weeks. This hasn't been fun. The only good thing about it (besides getting to be off work) is that I've lost ten pounds. I call it my "fear of pooping" diet. If you are terrified of anything coming out, you're not going to put anything in. Broth and Jello, my friends.
Anyway, as soon as I fully recover I really will be posting more often.

Date: 2004-08-19 06:55 am (UTC)Wow. I hope you're okay and recovering without complications. I was wondering where you were.
Take care of yourself, 'kay?
And get a padded toilet seat! *g*

Date: 2004-08-20 08:42 pm (UTC)*G* I've had surgery on my butt, so I have no more shame or dignity--I have to have a sense of humor!
Thanks for the good wishes! My surgeon says I'm doing well, recovering just as I should. I do have at least three more weeks of lying and standing ahead of me, though. I can sit for just a few minutes at a time each day, so I am squandering my sitting time to visit LJ. Time to stand now. *hugs*
