I'm watching WAY too much TV

The two Smallville eps tonight were good ones. I haven't been watching the reruns much, because this last season had so many that were Lana-centric, and, really, once was enough.

The Chloe-centric ep was great. The scene with Lex and Chloe, where she asks him why he can't break away from Lionel and he tells her his deepest truth absolutely kills me. Breaks my heart. And the scene with Chloe and Martha is just brilliant. Annette O'Toole is such a great actress. I wish she would be given more to do on the show.

And any Christopher Reeve ep is always cool to see. I'm looking forward to his guest shot for next season. I like that they had an episode that gave Jonathan some screen time. Especially the HoYay-licious fight scene with Lionel. Cracked me up just as much this time around.

Speaking of the HoYay, I enjoy the two lesbian commercials that have been getting a lot of airtime lately. The one for Cuervo tequila with the two pretty young women catching some rays in the middle of a rainstorm, while the background music sings, "Kiss me, baby...." Even my mom (who isn't really tuned in to the HoYay) says, "That is so gay."

The other one (I'm not sure what it's for) has the two elderly women singing, "I don't know why I love you like I do. I don't know why, I just do." Very cute. It always makes me smile.

I don't even know when they will start Season 3 here. They keep saying this fall but no news yet. *grrr* Granted, I've already seen a handful of episodes.

Now, given that Smallville airs Saturday afternoons - will they cut The Frying of Lex's Brain? Cos I've seen it once, thank you very much, and I never want to see it again. :(

I'd love to see the commercials. Sounds cute! We had one a couple of months ago. I posted about it here.

There's a website that has gay-themed commercials available for viewing; I'll see if these are there and post a link.

Nope! They didn't have it. I was looking at Commercial Closet. It's a cool web site where you can see gay-themed commercials (good, bad and neutral), but it doesn't have these two that I could find.

I think I saw them last during "Rescue Me" on FX. It's a show worth watching, and not only for the commercials. ;)

I hope you get to see S 3 soon. Most of it was great, except for about five really Lana-centric episodes that just made me want to vomit.

I couldn't get the links to work for the commercials. My computer started speaking German to me, and I think it was saying "file not found."

I love the Commercial Closet! It's in my favorites. I tried to find these two commercials there, but they don't have them yet.

Sadly, I don't have cable. I told myself I could either get a dog or cable. I got the dog. Little did I know that the dog would cost four times as much as cable.

*sigh*

Right now, I'm wishing I'd gotten cable.
