Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

I just made my mom a sugar free Angel Food Cake from scratch (it's her fave). foldfoldfoldfoldfoldfold. Folding is hard work, but Mom is worth it!

thank you! my mother used to make angel food cakes from scratch. she had a muscular arm, as you must -- i sure couldn't beat eggwhites that long!

I do use an electric mixer to fluff up the egg whites, but then the foldfoldfolding for is for mixing in the flour.

I'll be sore tomorrow :) but it's actually less strenuous than making brownies from scratch.

ah, i see! mom made a cake like that for me every birthday. homemade is so much better.

yes, it was a pleasant day, thanks. my younger son made me a funny "card" using ms paint, and my older son called me on the phone. :)
