I have become obsessed with Insaniquarium. It's a video game. This obsession is good, in a way, because I needed an incentive to practice sitting more. I'm doing pretty well with that, and I should be able to sit long enough at a time to be able to go back to work next week. I'm hoping for that anyway.

Anyway, regarding Insaniquarium; I'm stuck on the Alien Overlord, aka the Final Master of Doom. I can't get past it. So I went to a hints and tips website to see if anyone had any advice. There were a few people who had some good advice about other parts of the game, but nothing on the Alien Overlord. So I emailed some of the people on the site, but I think all the emails given were wrong. One came back as undeliverable, one didn't reply at all, and the third sent me back this message, which I quote verbatim (trust me, I copied and pasted):

what? r u talking about?

why are u e mailing me?

This was discouraging on many levels. Level one, of course, is that I am still stuck with the Alien Overlord. But on a more fundamental level, when I see this sort of communication, I am reminded of a quote I saw on a T shirt: Where are we going and what am I doing in this handbasket?
