My internet is messed up. Not the connection, just the browser. My mom is having a problem with IE, which I don't use, but I told her I'd see if it was doing the same thing on my computer. So I open IE and it orders me to do an update. The update apparently fucked up my Mozilla Firefox, which I do use all the time. The IE update was supposed to prevent home page hijacking, but it seems to have enabled it instead (on Firefox). I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and that didn't fix the problem, so I did a system restore and then reinstalled Firefox again. That seems to have fixed the problem, but now I don't have any of my add-ons or toolbars anymore. So I'm just annoyed. Internet Explorer is dead to me.

I'm going to do a virus scan now. Wish me luck!

The system restore seems to have done the trick. No viruses turned up. I did have to redo a couple of updates since the restore undid them. Yay! back to normal :)
