I have made it through...

the first couple of days of work. Still having the random panic attacks, but it's getting better. Everyone is so happy to see me, it makes me feel good. I've gotten lots of hugs. The first person to hug me was kind of tentative, and she said, "I'm not sure where it hurts, so I don't want to squeeze too hard." I said, "Well, it's my ass that's hurting, and I don't think you'll be touching me there." Another co-worker started cracking up and said, "Welcome back!"

So it's been pretty good except for the actual doing of my job, but I think I'm getting back into the swing of things. But god, I used to have prices, channel lineups, taxes for five or six different towns, many, many phone numbers--all of this memorized. It's all gone now. Plus I have to learn all the new stuff that's happened in the past two months. Ah well, it'll come back.
