TWoP is Television Without Pity, a website where television shows are recapped (with much snark and humor) and people discuss the shows on forums.
I found the website a few years ago by googling for summaries of the first season of West Wing, since I started watching it the second season. I'm always late for TV shows, it seems. I don't think I ever posted on those forums, though.
When I started watching Smallville (late, of course), I read through the summaries of the first two seasons in about a week. I've been just a freak about the show ever since. I post on those forums, sometimes kind of obsessively. :) When I'm in a Smallville mood, I'll pop around from TWoP to LJ to the WB just to see if anyone has posted anything interesting.
Anyway, it's a fun website, and Omar is a great recapper. Read his recap of Devoted and you'll laugh yourself silly. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Oh, and the forums are down again, btw. It doesn't happen very often. It's a very well-maintained website. They should be back up again soon. But hey! the recaps are available.
They came up for about a half an hour and then went back down again. I'm not sure what they're doing now. They'll be back soon, I'm sure, and better than ever. We must be brave. *sniff*
