Okay, the answer to the first question on the file cabinet is I'm an idiot and I misread the parts list. The answer to the second question is, "BAM! BAM! BAM!" The file cabinet is still not together. I've temporarily lost my motivation (probably because it's a dreary, rainy day and I've started my period), so it will wait until next weekend.

I still haven't heard from the computer repair tech, but I'm optimistic. The phone person said it would be within two days.
