Happy New Year!
Jan. 1st, 2005 08:41 pmTo everyone at LJ, Happy New Year!
I didn't get to really celebrate because I had to be at work at 7:00 this morning. I did look at my clock and notice it was 12:02 am before I went to sleep, so Happy New Year!
Oh, and I had a lovely Christmas and got lots of presents. I got the collector's gift set of The Return of the King with a very cool Weta Workshop scale model of Minas Tirith. I also got an external hard drive for my computer with 160 GB of space to which I promptly moved all my fanvideos. Including the ones I'm working on myself.
Yes, I'm trying to create my very first Smallville fanvideo. I hope to have it done in a few days, maybe a week. Watch this space.

Date: 2005-01-03 09:05 am (UTC)That's been the story of my life for the past few months. :) I try to get my computer to do something computer-like, and it whines, "Oh, oh, I need this thing or that thing." So I get it and it install it and the computer says, "Well, silly, this thing won't work unless I have this other thing."
My computer and I work as a team at emptying out my checking account.
I'm glad you like the story! It cracked me up from start to finish. One line that I loved was this one:
Lana didn't talk. Just smoked silently. She was usually silent and dark. A mystery. Clark figured that something traumatic had happened to her at some point, but he had no idea what it was. She never talked about it.
And yes, poor sad Lionel, retreating from the world after the death of his beloved wife. *snerk* If only.
