I've made a new icon. Let me know what you think. Does it look okay? Is the text readable? I may need to change the font. I'm not sure. Any suggestions are welcome! :)

Now, see? If you could make my text go away, that would be exactly what I wanted.

I've reloaded the icon with 72 dpi (I think). I'm not sure if it looks any better. It really needs the white text. I don't know why I can't do that, I could in the other program I used for my "sex with Lex" icon.

I am such a bumbling idiot sometimes. My excuse is that it was already WAY past midnight and I was chatting on the side. dpi is for printers. ppi is the expression: pixels per inch. *headdesk*

Which program are you using at the moment? PSP?

It would be very hard to change the text once it's embedded, the colour must be fixed before that.

(Or you could just put another copy of the picture over this one in another layer and have the text covered by it.)

I'm using Pinnacle Picture Studio. The disk came free with something else we bought, so I thought I'd try it.

I used Dell Image Expert for the first icon, and I really liked it, but my free trial of premium features expired and I can't figure out how to renew it. :( When I click on the renew button, it tells me the web site no longer exists.

I'm planning on calling Dell sales to get some help with it, but meanwhile I'm trying different programs to see if I like any of them better. So far, not.
