Yay! Smallville!
Jan. 26th, 2005 08:12 pmI really enjoyed this episode! So much fun!
The only parts I didn't like were Chloe reading Alicia's medical files--stupid, stupid, stupid--and that last scene with Martha. God, that pissed me off! I wish the writers would pick a personality for her and stick with it. Good grief, woman! Your son was DRUGGED! Give him a frickin' BREAK!
HATED that!
The whole sort of Felliniesqe Vegas wedding with the Elvis and all was hilarious! I was cracking up! Also, I cared more about Clark's relationship with Alicia in this one episode than I've ever cared about his relationship with Lana in the three and a half years they've been trying to shove it down my throat.
Speaking of Lana, her part was...almost interesting. I like awkward teenager Lana. It was rather endearing. I still like her better when she has no interaction with anyone except Jason, although the Chloe/Lana bit was fine. That's a conversation that most teenage girl's have had with a friend at some time. Very realistic.
It was pretty cool that Chloe had her first sexual experience with Jimmy Olsen. :) Too bad we never get to see stuff like that. But of course, that would take time away from Lana and her mystical fucking tatoo.
Oh, and Jason and non-RedK Clark? So, so gay.
Lex and Lionel--brilliant as always. "Too busy playing with your sword to see your father?" Hee! And also Hah! I love the notion of Lionel in the soup kitchen. Yes, he is committed to the part! :) I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going. I love every minute they are on screen together
