Aragorn and Humperdinck
Apr. 6th, 2004 06:59 pmI watched part of The Two Towers on Starz last night. I always come in around the same time, when Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli are tracking Merry and Pippin after they've been kidnapped by the orcs.
Every time I see Aragorn describing what happened when the hobbits escaped I flash on Prince Humperdinck from The Princess Bride, and I'm hearing this in my head: "Iocaine powder. Odorless and tasteless." "...I shall be very *put out*." "Incontheivable!" So, of course, I giggle inappropriately while watching The Two Towers.
I also watched Dreamcatcher. It wasn't as horrible as I expected it to be. It actually held my attention to the end, which is more than I can say for the book. I stopped about a third of the way through with that.
