Alicia day

Okay, I'm working on an Alicia video, but it won't be finished today. I don't think I'll try to do one of these deadline thingies again. It's too much like work. Or cramming for a test. I've been flashing back to grad school.

My Windows Movie Maker keeps crashing on me. Sometimes it locks up, and I have to close it out myself. Sometimes it just closes itself out. It happens about every minute and a half. I can do maybe two things, then it shuts down. It's making me crazy. It's a Windows Crazy Maker.

Windows must get thousands of error reports every day on this. They get dozens of error reports a day just from me. Why can't they fix it?

So anyway, I'll just look around at everyone else's Alicia stuff. I know mkitty_03 was working on a video, but she hasn't posted it. Also, scribblinlenore has a story that she posted yesterday that I haven't had a chance to read yet. There should be other stuff out there too.

I liked Alica. She was crazy and a little dangerous, but I liked her quite a lot. I liked the character, and I liked the actress who played her. I was particularly impressed with her ability to flirt convincingly. She had great chemistry with TW. Better than anyone on the show, except for MR, of course.

Rest in peace, Alicia.

My video will be done eventually. Watch this space! :o)

Windows Crazy Maker (well put!! lol) is a Microsoft product. So it's supposed to not work. Virtual Dub is worth a try.

Great timing, btw. I just saw the first Alicia ep. yesterday!

The first ep Alicia ep was pretty good, but it was the second that really made me like her so much. Then the third was sad. *sniff*

I'll check out Virtual Dub. I have Pinnacle Studio 9 which seems pretty cool and can do a lot of stuff, but I'm taking my time learning how to do it, because it's complicated. What I really like about it is that it can do picture-in-picture, so I can take Clark from one scene and Lex from another scene and put them together, like a photomanipulation.

I don't know, I mean.. I was thoroughly distressed by the bad, bad writing. Third time in a row now, I think. Alicia herself seemed quite ok.. though I kept thinking she might be too good for Clark. I only seem to care for Clark when Lex does, and he doesn't. Oh man.

Picture-in-picture sounds amazing! I'll never find the energy to learn how to make videos. Looking forward to yours very much! And please feel free to always recommend fan videos by others as well :)
