It was all over the tvs at work today (I work for a cable company, so we have about six tvs on all the time). People actually stood up in the aisles to watch the verdict. One guy was acting like he was at a sporting event. Every time the announcer said, "Not Guilty," this guy hollered out, "WooHoo!" and applauded. He had kind of the same reaction when we were watching the PayPerView Tyson fight on Saturday night. It was very strange.

Ah, well. Good for Michael. Bad for the children.

I wonder if there will be a civil suit like there was in the OJ situation? It seems to me that the alleged victims would be more likely to get a favorable outcome in a civil trial since the rules are different.

I didn't really have any expectations about the outcome of the trial. The reaction of some of the people watching was really surprising to me, though.
