I have just spent HOURS working on a sixteen second video clip. I already had the clip in Windows Movie Maker, but I couldn't make it look like I wanted it to look, because WMM (which I can use pretty well) doesn't have any good effects. I also didn't have the effects I needed in Studio 9 (which I can kind of use). Adobe Premiere (which I'm just learning) does have the effects, but it won't capture video.

So, I captured the clips and edited them for length and content in Studio, rendered the clips as an .avi file, imported the .avi file into Adobe, added the effects I wanted, saved it as a different .avi file, then imported it into WMM, which is where I'm actually putting together the video. In the process I have learned many new things about Studio 9 and especially Adobe.

Go me! *g* I'm really enjoying making videos. Sometimes it's frustrating trying to learn how to use the editing software, but it's so satisfying when it all finally works. The clip looks almost exactly like I wanted it to look, so that makes it worth all the time I spent on it. Also, next time, it will be easier! Yay!

*g* It was really f**king complicated, so thank you! I hope everyone likes the vid when I finally get it finished. That will also make it worth it.
