capnzebbieI hope everyone had a lovely day, whether you celebrate Christmas or not. We all had fun. I cooked most of the dinner. I seldom have the time to really cook, so I enjoyed doing it. And everyone enjoyed the food!
I got a wonderful t-shirt from mkitty_03 that was a big hit with the family because they all think my Smallville obsession is very funny. The t-shirt has a picture of Lex (MR) on the front that looks like a campaign picture with a flag and all, and it says, "Looking to the future--Lex Luthor." On the back, in red white and blue letters, it says, "VOTE SEXY." :D It's beautiful! I love it!
I also got a pen tablet, this one, which I think is going to be fun--I'm hoping it'll help with manips and vidding.
My younger brother was trying to figure out what it was, and my older brother explained that it was like one of those things that sports commentators use to draw circles on the screen for football plays. My younger brother read from the box, "for the serious designer and artist" and he said, "It's more like, for the person with too much time on her hands and a serious Smallville fetish." Hee!
So both my brothers started doing John Madden impressions, saying, "SO WHEN CLARK STANDS OVER HERE (circle Clark) AND LEX STANDS OVER THERE (circle Lex) AND THEY EXCHANGE THESE LINGERING LOOKS..." and I said, "and you need to draw arrows pointing to their eyes..." "THAT'S WHAT LEADS PEOPLE TO BELIEVE THAT THEY'RE HOMOSEXUALS...."
Like I said, my family thinks my Smallville obsession is very funny. *G*
