capnzebbieYahoo sent me an interesting link here. Did you know that Lex Luthor is Jewish? Non-practicing--he is now (in the comic book now) a "Nietzschian atheist." And Superman is a Methodist. Batman is either a lapsed Catholic or a lapsed Episcopalian. There are some very detailed essays linked at that site. I thought it was pretty interesting.
