Yahoo sent me an interesting link here. Did you know that Lex Luthor is Jewish? Non-practicing--he is now (in the comic book now) a "Nietzschian atheist." And Superman is a Methodist. Batman is either a lapsed Catholic or a lapsed Episcopalian. There are some very detailed essays linked at that site. I thought it was pretty interesting.

And yeah, it's pretty amazing the thought that goes into that religion website--really fascinating. I've noticed that when Lex's religion is mentioned in fanfic, it's usually assumed that he's Catholic--but no, Nietzschian atheist. Huh.
