I'm working on some vids--many, many vids. I need the Superman movies for one of them, and I had what I think is a very good idea. I joined Netflix--well rejoined it, really. I had tried it a couple of years ago, but I wasn't watching the movies fast enough to make it worth it.
So, I'm doing the $9.95 membership where I can have one dvd at a time, as many as I want per month. I'll get the dvd, get what I need from it (and maybe watch it) then send it back and get another one. I got the first Superman movie yesterday--it was waiting for me when I got home from work. I captured clips last night, and mailed it back today. I should have the next one by, maybe, Tuesday, and do the whole thing again. I don't know why I didn't think of this before. It's probably the B12.
That's much more economical than spending $40.00 on the dvd set. I'm still going to buy it, but I'm going to wait until December when the special edition comes out with the director's cut of Superman 4, which is supposed to be much better than the theatrical release, which was apparently so bad that I didn't even realize there was a Superman 4. Does anyone remember Lex Luthor creating "nuclear man?" I'll be interested in seeing the director's cut. I just didn't want to wait until December to finish this vid.
