Thank you. *hugs* In some ways it's better now, because she isn't having the terrible skin side effects, but it's also worse, because it just seems to go on and on. She just found out she has to have eight more doses of the current chemo. That will make twenty-four altogether.

At least we're getting to where we can laugh again. When the chemo first started, we laughed about the hair loss and the numbness in her fingers (I know! But we're really into dark humor.) When the skin stuff started we just couldn't joke about it because it was so awful. It was during that period of time that I wasn't able to post much on LJ. Too depressed.

It's definitely better now. Any time you can still laugh, it's okay, you know?

I know what you mean about the laughter thing. You have to find some way to laugh, no matter how dark things get. It keeps you breathing.

*HUGS* Thank you. I appreciate that. I'm doing pretty well. Yeah, my sister just keeps on plugging away, no matter what. She cries when she needs to, and bitches when she needs to, and then we laugh when we can. Doing okay!
