I went to see X3 yesterday, and I swear one of the scenes in the movie was straight out of a fanfic--the only X-Men fanfic I've ever read. I can't remember the title, author, anything, except that it was Scott/Logan slash, and the set up was exactly what happened in the movie.

Scott is angsting over Jean, and Logan says something like, "We need to move on." And hot, angsty sex ensues. I was kind of surprised that they didn't wind up in a passionate embrace in the movie. It could happen. *g*

Did anyone else have that thought during the movie?

Anyway, I enjoyed the movie. It was exciting and entertaining. I thought it was as good as the first one, not quite as good as the second one--but the second is one of my fave comic book movies. I think this one would have been improved by some Scott/Logan sex, though.

I loved all the slashiness in the movie, especially the Xavier/Eric stuff--definitely ex-lovers.

Yup :)

It was a little less slashy than the others in that respect, and I blame the change in directors. Xavier/Magneto was blatantly obvious though *g*

I wonder if it's canon that Xavier and Eric are former lovers? It really is obvious in the movies, especially this last one. I loved that part!

Ooooh! "Friends." wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more! *g*

Yeah, it's the new code. After "cousins" or "brothers" *gg*

It never fails to amuse me that X-Men has 2 older, Northern, English Shakespeareans. And a load of young and pretty people of various other nationalities.

I love the openly slashy vibe between Xavier and Eric--Stewart and McKellan are such brilliant actors they could play it completely matter-of-fact and straightforward, yet subtly enough that it wouldn't offend people who might be prone to offense. They give the Gay dignity. Of course, the intensity of the pretty, young people like Scott and Logan was pretty fun to watch, too. :)
