capnzebbieMy weeks of severe computer deprivation are now over. My brother came over this weekend and networked our computers together, so I am now posting for the first time from the computer in my bedroom. This is so great! Ever since my sister moved in, I haven't had as much computer time as I'm used to, but now she has her computer, I have my computer, and we have the main computer in the front of the house.
I'm enjoying my new position at work. I'm very busy; people call my name and ask me to do things or help with something all the time. I feel very useful, which is important to me. I have a lot to learn to be able to fulfill my new duties, but the training is slowly progressing. I think once this month is over and all of our monthly reports are done, my supervisor and I will be able to spend more time in training.
I'm beginning to suffer from Smallville withdrawal. Since the season ended I've been filling the void with fan fiction (actually, I was kind of doing that during the season as well), but I've read and reread all my favorites and there doesn't seem to be a lot of good new stuff coming out. I keep checking all the usual places, and what does come out I go through pretty quickly.
I do have the S2 dvds to watch, though. My dvd player pooped out a few weeks ago and I've just replaced it, so I have that to look forward to.
Generally, life is good. I'm so happy to have the home network.

I felt a little guilty printing out porn at work, but really, some things are more important that leading by example and your schmoop and porn definitely fall into that category. *g* Very good segments, by the way, both 5 and 6. There'll be one or two more, right?
