Apu the cable guy

The cable went out tonight. I spent twenty minutes on hold, waiting for a customer service rep. Once I had him on the phone, I decided to make it worth my while by getting the remote control codes for my tv, vcr and stereo. This took about another half an hour or so. Then he tried to upgrade my service to a DVR box. Very thorough guy.

At the end of the call, Apu (I'm not sure of his name, but that was the voice) said, "So ma'am, before I let you go, I want to ask, how is your cable service? I mean, I know you don't have service right now, but before it was not there, how was it?"

I laughed for five minutes. *g*
