I just sent a new video off to be betaed, so I should be able to post it soon! I'm pretty happy with it so far. :o)

My sister is on her fourth round of chemo. The third one didn't seem to be working. The doctor does a blood test called CA125 every week to see if it's working, and she wants it to be below 30. My sister's went up to 300 after two treatments, then up to 700 after four treatments. So she's switched to another kind. Her scans are clear though, so no cancer has popped up anywhere else, which is great!

We now have a swimming pool, which is wonderful, but we can't get into it because the ladder kit didn't include the hardware, the screws and stuff, to actually put the ladder together. :( It's being FedExed, so we should have it in a few days. Water aerobics! Yay! Can't wait!

Putting the pool together was an aerobic experience itself. It's called an EZPool or something like that--1, 2, 3 you're ready to go. Find a level piece of ground, inflate the ring around the top, fill it up! However, step one took WEEKS! We had to build a level piece of ground. Whew!

It's definitely been a learning experience. :o)

yay! pool! I've considered filling up the goldfish pond, but it would be more of a plunge pool. and a lot of hard work, too!

This pool is going to be pretty good if I can ever get into it. *g* It's big for a blow up thing--about 18 feet wide by four feet deep, which is deep enough to float and to do aerobics, but not much for swimming laps.

I hope it helps, too. And yeah, she's very tired of this. And this has pain as a side effect. So she's gone from hair loss to numb fingers to skin sloughing and chemical burns to horrible abdominal cramps. blech. And yet, she's keeping her spirits up pretty well.

I think the vid will be out next week. I'm on vacation after tomorrow (Yay!) so I should be able to finish it up.

How long is your vacation? All week?

I haven't worked on Big Bang since finishing the rough draft, but I'm home alone tonight and feeling antsy, so maybe I'll work on it before starting the Miami Vice/Smallville crossover that the evil Sabershadowkat is goading me to write. She's evil!

It would be terrible to go through something like this without a support network. She's always been the caretaker because she's the oldest and she's a nurse, I guess, but we're doing our best.

I'm on vacation from 4PM tomorrow until 9AM on Tuesday the 29th. yay!

I'm so busy revising SVBB and doing RL writing that I have no idea when I'll have time to write the crossover. It'll probably be Clex with only UST for Crockett and Tubbs. Then in the sequel, Crockett and Tubbs will realize the way of the gay, and they will shack up.

I've been watching the old eps, and it's so clear that they're the only ones for each other. The women in their lives just don't get them! They rely on each other. Trust each other. Uh-huh.

Yay vacation! Haven't posted the vid yet. I have to redo the aspect ratio on about a third of the clips--some of them are all square like TV and some of them are all wide like the movies and I need to make them all look the same shape. *sigh* Tedious. And I need to just replace a few clips that aren't that great.

But it's about 97% done! Soon!
