Torchwood was excellently scary tonight! Captain Jack becomes more interesting with every episode. It was so great to see him just come in blasting! Yeah! When you're dealing with fucking nutso cannibals, you don't hold up your gun and say, "Stop or I'll shoot!" You just blast away! I love his ruthlessness and pragmatism. He has compassion, he just doesn't make decisions based upon it.
I wonder about his past and his future. I wonder when he was actually born? From last week's episode, I think he might have been born in the 1870s, but I don't know. He could have already been a time agent when he was on that troop train in 1909.
In the season finale of Doctor Who last week, they had a bit at the end that indicated that he might eventually become the Face of Bo. The Doctor and Martha laughed about it, but it kind of freaked me out and made me sad. It makes me think about the way he is now and what it will be like for him to live a million years until he's pretty much nothing but a head. And one of the things that makes me saddest is thinking that he wouldn't be able to have sex anymore. I know, weird.
