I haven't been online much lately, and when I am online I haven't been able to come with a post for my LJ because I'm pretty stressed.

My sister is in the hospital and she isn't doing well. She's not giving up, though. We're not giving up. At first, she had a surgeon who was saying that nothing could be done, so she fired him. After putting up with this guy for a week, she finally told her nurse that she didn't want that doctor in her room anymore. He was too negative and he was just sucking all the positive out of the room. You really don't need a surgeon who is an energy vampire. Her oncologist is going to help her find a surgeon who will be more positive and proactive.

Nothing is making it from her stomach to her intestines because of the blockage. She gas a tube in her stomach to take stuff out, because she's still hungry (this is a good sign) so she's still eating a little--clear and full liquids. She also has a tube going into her abdomen to remove the fluid that's being produced by the cancer. They're working on getting tube going directly into her intestine to get some medication and nourishment into her. That's what the surgeon didn't want to do, because it's more complicated.

He wanted her to starve to death, the son of a bitch.

I haven't been able to go to the hospital to see her because I've been sick with something contagious. As soon as I finish my medication I'll be able to see her. I've been talking to her on the phone and taking care of the house and all the animals while the rest of the family has been at the hospital with her.

I sent her a cd with healing affirmations and meditations for people with cancer from Louise Hay. She was very happy to get it. I got it for her for Christmas, and she didn't even get to listen to it before she had to go to the hospital. I hope it helps.

Prayers and positive thoughts and vibes are appreciated.

Thank you, bpp. *hugs* I'm so glad your aunt is doing better. There's not much that anyone can do for my sister, because it's so far along. She is finally getting some IV nutrition, which was the the most important thing. I was so afraid the doctors were just going to allow her to starve. We're spending as much time with her as possible, and keeping her as comfortable as possible, but that's all we can really do now.
