Love Mode

I'm reading this yaoi series called Love Mode that's very good. It's the first true yaoi I've ever read, so I've had to get used to reading backwards and in a circle, but I like it a lot.

I ordered the the first one at amazon.com's recommendation (this was before the whole Amazon Rank fiasco), and ordered the next four when I finished it (buy three get one free special). I'm just now finishing up volume 5, so I went to order the rest of them. Volumes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 are readily available (there are only 11 of them), but for some reason volume 10 is rare. They don't have any new ones at amazon.com, and the used ones start at $102.00. Insane! So I wound up going to amazon.com UK to order it. It costs twice as much as the others, but nowhere near $102.00. I hope they come through with it!

So anyway, this is a very enjoyable series. I highly recommend it. It's sweet, hot, romantic, funny. Also, the author puts little notes in all the books for the fans. It's funny, almost like fanfiction where the authors give shoutouts about reader requests and "scenes we'd like to see." There's hurt/comfort, hot boy-on-boy action, curtain-fic, schmoop, all the fun stuff. Oh, and a little non-con which is not my favorite thing, but it's not much. *g*

Watching him perform or listening to the studio recording makes me smile every time. I voted for the first time ever this past week. I'm going to vote more this next week. I want him to stay! And win!

YAOI! Yaoi is so much fun. I borrowed a book from my ex's gay brother. Then I found stuff online. Anyway, FUN!

It is! The stories are entertaining and the visual style is very amusing. I just zipped through the first five volumes of this series. When I finish it, I think I'll see if the author has started a new one.

I have SEVERAL pictures of him, and that's one of my favorites. Taking a little nap in the AI mansion, I think. :) I also have one of him waking up, here. Happy!
