New Smallville Video--Clex! Romance! Yay!

This is a romantic Clex video. In fact, it's a Big Clex Romance Novel in video form. Many thanks to mkitty_03 and euphony_m for the betas and thanks so much to lapetite_kiki for the beautiful manips she did for the title sequence. I just can't get over what a wonderful job she did!

This is the first song I ever wanted to vid. I've been working on it off and on for a couple of years--I just had to learn how to make videos so I could do it. I had a lot of fun making this vid--I hope you have fun watching it!

Boy, you worked hard on this one! It's really good! I love the way you match scenes up with the lyrics -- you have a great sense of timing. And there was some excellent editing, too, like the kissing, then Clark lying there all ravished and stuff. Mmm... A good way to start my evil Friday.

I didn't see this last night, and I should have, I was up late enough...anyway, I want you to know that for some reason, this made me cry like a girl, I mean leaky face and sobbing and--ack! I'm still sniveling. It touched my heart so much. It was just so beautiful and romantic, and I loved it very, very much. Kiki's manip for it is gorgeous. *HUG* Thank you!

This was lovely, so sweet, poignant and so romantic. The 50's style of song really suited what you did with this. Kiki's manipped cover for the vid just made me want to see this all the more. I think she truly caught the love and stolen moments that you conveyed in this vid. Bravo, hon!

This is so wonderful I almost don't know where to start. It's a beautiful track--so sweeping and romantic. In another context, I can imagine it being used comedically, and yet here it's so *literal* and it totally totally works. You must have poured so much into this! The timing is perfect--down to Clark closing his eyes on the word 'love' in Lex's arms, and the imagined idyll of being able to tell the truth to the world... oh, it's all just so good! This is so going to be one of those vids that I watch and rewatch! Eee!! *squees*

I did put a few bits in that were funny (to me anyway), but I wanted it to be truly romantic as well. beautifully done. i giggled a little at the popping champagne cork and the fireworks, but that's exact '50s-era for imagery. (i grew up in the '50s, so i remember it well.) it was all so swoony and lovable. thank you!
